The new AASHTO Digital Reference Book, which replaces the printed, spiral-bound copies previously published, includes detailed contact and personnel information for AASHTO state departments of transportation members, as well as AASHTO associate members. It also includes current lists of AASHTO standing committees and subcommittees, regional leadership, AASHTO award winners, and AASHTO staff.
Transportation TV has been created to support AASHTO’s national social media and public outreach and education effort. The goal of this nationwide effort is to inspire a national dialogue about America’s transportation needs today and into the future and the importance of passing a new Highway and Transit reauthorization bill designed to meet those needs. AASHTO's 100th Anniversary Website
In November 1914 a small group of 14 state highway engineers met at the
Georgian Terrace Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia to discuss the creation of an
association that would address the unique concerns of the public
officials responsible for "getting America out of the mud." AASHTO turns 100 years old next year, and this website allows you to see where transportation began, how far it has come, and where the future leads.
Utah & Missouri Take Home Top Transportation Honors in National Competition
The judges turned to an innovative highway expansion project and the public voted for a statewide bridge repair program. Now the votes are in and the states of Utah and Missouri have earned the top honors in a year-long campaign to recognize America's top transportation projects.
